Director Social & Academic
Hi everyone! I’m Alexandra, this year’s Director of Social and Academics for WIE. I’m a third-year Civil Engineering student on a mission to help inspire and empower the current and future generations of engineering. As we all collectively face the ongoing issues that emerged this year, my current goal is to ensure that we are continuously modifying our events to work in tandem with our amazing community. In joining WIE, I hope to use it as a means to support students who are interested in studying engineering and repeatedly encourage those who feel discouraged. Our events are open to all and are meant to be a resource for inspiration and learning. Hope to see you all there. Feel free to contact me for any questions! director.social.wie@ecaconcordia.ca
Faustine Chauschard

Faustine Chauschard

VP Internal
Bonjour everyone! My name is Faustine Chauschard, an industrial engineering student and I am beyond proud and excited to be a part of Women in Engineering for the second consecutive year. I am the new VP Internal and will take care of the internal communication within the group and work closely with Alessandra, our President, and the entire team so our events and administration organization can run as smooth as possible. Sadly, with the current pandemic, it is an adjustment for every student; our events will mostly be hosted online, but we are doing everything we can to promote and support as best as we can young women in STEM majors. It is with pride that I take onto this new role, as women in STEM are still a minority. I would do anything I can to help you in your journey or answer any questions you may have, as WIE clearly changed my vision of engineering and motivated through my first year of university by taking me in. I hope to talk to you soon, looking forward to a challenging and exciting year! internal.wie@ecaconcordia.ca
